Join Jackie as we dive into the movement and meditative flow of Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation). Sun salutations help us connect our movement with our breath while improving strength, flexibility, stamina and circulation, as well as reducing stress and increasing mental focus and awareness. This workshop will include exploration of both Classical Surya Namaskara as well as Surya Namaskara A. We will breakdown the alignment of the individual postures including modifications and explore navigating the transitions between them with beginner, intermediate and advanced options. Whether you are just beginning your yoga (asana) journey or have been practicing for quite some time, this workshop will leave you with a stronger foundation, and a deeper understanding of how to move smoothly and safely through your journey on the mat.
